DGxC (Damian Gruneberg & Cox) needed a brand that reflected both the heritage tone of a traditional British professional services firm and the forward-thinking nature of enterprise technology consultancy.
They were drawn to nautical themes, particularly a lighthouse concept generated via AI, as it symbolised guidance and stability. However, the initial concepts lacked refinement, clarity, and the gravitas required to appeal to senior decision-makers in government and enterprise sectors.
The challenge was to transform the spirit of the lighthouse idea into a timeless, authoritative identity that balanced high-class professionalism with a subtle technological edge, positioning DGxC as dependable, expert, and distinctive within a competitive market.

The AI-generated lighthouse concepts provided strong symbolic direction, but lacked refinement and authority. We evolved the nautical inspiration into a more structured, heritage-inspired emblem, creating a refined architectural mark that conveys stability, protection, and expertise.
This shift strengthened DGxC’s positioning as both a guide and a guardian in complex digital environments, aligning perfectly with enterprise cloud hosting and professional services delivery.
We paired elegant serif typography with the sharpness of the “x” in DGxC to balance tradition with technology. The result is a wordmark that feels high-class, dependable, and intelligent, without drifting into corporate cliché.
A restrained monochrome palette reinforces the brand’s authority and versatility across enterprise environments, from tenders and presentations to digital platforms.
The final identity blends heritage and technology, giving DGxC a timeless, ownable brand built for serious decision-makers.
